Charity Argentine Tango - 7th and 8th July 2018

Tango Teachers We have put together a Charity Tango weekend to raise money for the village primary school in Ban Hua Dong, in the Yasothon province of NE Thailand. The school is in a very poor rice-farming area which is experiencing an exodus of its young adults to Bangkok who often leave behind their children with grandparents. The school is struggling to pay for books, sports equipment and needs another teacher.

We have invited a very exciting Tango couple from Brazil - Emilia and Benjamin. They are argentine artists trained in art schools and universities in: tango, folklore, contemporary dance and other disciplines who have been working together for more than 9 years.

We are also excited that Mike has agreed to DJ for us, who is very well regarded prominent in the Edinburgh Tango scene.

There will be a weekend of classes, a Milonga with lots of surprise and many ways for you to donate. We hope you can come along and support us in raising money to support this worthy cause.
