Our Charity Tango evening to raise money for the village primary school in Ban Hua Dong, in the Yasothon province of NE Thailand
was very successful raising £987.
The school is in a very poor rice-farming area which is experiencing an exodus of its young adults to Bangkok who often leave behind their children with grandparents. The school is struggling to pay for books, sports equipment and needs another teacher.
We
thank all those who attended, volunteered and donated to our event for supporting
us in raising money to support this worthy cause - all of the money is going to
the school.
